Raku Pottery
A New Type of Pottery for you to create!

This is an interactive class and it is a blast!
Pottery is fired outside in a gas kiln--while you watch.

Pottery is removed from the kiln while it is red hot (1800 degrees) and placed in a combustion chamber where it catches on fire with newspaper. Finally we reduce the oxygen out of the chamber and beautiful flashes of color 'flash' on the pottery.

Take it home with you that day!
